2008 Orcas Cup Final Results

 

Saturday March 22, 2008, brought moderate winds and partly sunny skies to West Sound, close to perfect conditions for the 28 Orcas sailors who participated in the fourth annual Orcas Cup. Nine races were completed, and the competition was tight throughout the afternoon, with the cup still up for grabs in the final race. The team, parents and alumni enjoyed a potluck BBQ at the OIYC picnic shelter after the racing.

 

Thanks Tika Zbornik for diligent scorekeeping, all the parents who helped on the water and with the potluck BBQ. A big thanks to alumni Rhys Temple and Jacob Bossler for getting out on the water and sailing with us.
